Our School History

Established in September 2019 by Chairman Engr Kole Ayodeji Afolami, CMBS Montessori embarked on a mission to redefine early childhood education in Mowe, Ogun State. The school’s journey began with the enrollment of Adigun Oluwasemilore, a child of just 1 year and 3 months, marking the humble origins of what would become a beacon of educational excellence. Guided by a vision to nurture young minds with excellence, discipline, and the fear of God, CMBS Montessori quickly gained recognition for its innovative approach to education.

Under the leadership of Mrs. Afolami Adewumi Oluwaseun, the school’s head, CMBS Montessori flourished, fostering a community where every child is valued, cherished, and empowered to shine. Over the past five years, CMBS Montessori has evolved into a comprehensive educational institution, offering crèche, nursery, primary, and now extending to JSS1 to JSS3. Throughout its history, the school has remained committed to its core values of fostering a love for learning, identifying and nurturing individual talents, and providing a safe, respectful environment for lifelong learning.

As CMBS Montessori celebrates its fifth-year anniversary in August 2024, it reflects with gratitude on the lives it has touched and the impact it has made in molding the future leaders of tomorrow. With a rich history of academic excellence, character development, and creative expression, CMBS Montessori looks forward to continuing its legacy of shaping young minds and nurturing excellence for many years to come.
